Cadillac-Oldsmobile' of San Pedro, CA Harley Earl and
company attended to Chevrolet's first postwar restyle using the
company's prewar shells until 1949 when dramatic change was to be
made with some of Chevy's best looking cars ever made to date, and
which were to be precision built as well. By 1950-52, the
introduction of the Deluxe Styleline series now included its
top-of-the-line Bel Air. Indeed there's no better example of GM's
styling and engineering prowess in the fifties than these
Chevrolet's.One of the USA's most recognized classic cars ever, the
top-of-the-line Bel Air series, was introduced as a stand alone
model for the 1953 model year, replacing the previous DeLuxe
Styleline series. It was to become the most desirable Chevrolet
model of the 1950's, offering a balance of style and luxury
appointments unavailable in the base 150 & 210 series and
offered in a wide range of body styles, including a convertible,
Sport Coupe hardtop, two- and four-door sedans and four-door
station wagons. This particular 1952 Chevrolet 2 Door Convertible
Deluxe Styleline example was previously frame off restored with no
expense spared and is a phenomenal example ready for its next
collector owner! The original Deluxe Styleline options include
two-tone deep-buff leather upholstery and a power top, with
standard options including two-tone instrument panel with garnish
molding, twin sun visors, 39 hour stem wind clock, two spoke
steering wheel with new "Bow tie" center cap, trunk lock, luggage
compartment light (window in each taillight), stainless steel front
fender and door molding with Deluxe nameplate, windshield,
belt-line, rear gravel shield and lower body trim and fender
skirts. In summary this must be one of the finest examples anywhere
of a fully operational and turn-key example of a beautifully
restored 1952 Chevrolet JK Deluxe Styleline 2 Door Convertible - a
wonderful example of America's favorite 1950's classic car and a
wonderful addition to any American classic car enthusiasts
collection!
