1967 Shelby GT500 Fastback. The correct and highly esteemed 428ci
Police Interceptor V8 engine was rebuilt, blueprinted, and dyno
tested by Evanuik Performance. Helpful data like cam specs, plus
cylinder head, valve train, block, crank and oil system specs are
provided as well. On top are two 650cfm Holleys and it?s dressed
with the coveted finned aluminum Cobra LeMans valve covers and
Cobra dual carb air cleaner. The entire car was lovingly restored
over a 3-year period and completed in 1991. The engine rebuild was
done in 2010 and the car has been driven about 3755 miles since.
The top tier drivetrain features the rugged C6 automatic
transmission and legendary 9-inch Ford rear axle. Restoration
photos are included. As an early production model, it sports the
distinctive inboard hi-beams, and along with the Dark Blue exterior
paint, white LeMans stripes, and distinctive 10-spoke aluminum
wheels, the car simply exudes ?Shelby-ness,? and it?s just
gorgeous! In fact, the signature of Carroll Shelby himself is
proudly displayed on the passenger sun visor. Once inside, you?ll
