1945 Willys MB, a classic vehicle that served as the predecessor to
the Jeep CJ 2A. This particular Willys MB has been modified with a
350 cubic inch V8 engine paired with a four-speed Muncie manual
transmission, enhancing both power and drivability. It features
power steering, front disc brakes, magnesium wheels, and 33x12.5x15
BFGoodrich white letter radial all-terrain tires with substantial
tread remaining, making it suitable for both on-road cruising and
off-road. The vehicle is affectionately nicknamed the "Cherry
Bomb," a nod to its distinctive exhaust sound produced by side dump
headers. The Willys has a red paint job with few blemishes. The
interior includes bucket seats with seat belts and aftermarket
gauges such as a tachometer, voltmeter, oil pressure, fuel, and
temperature gauges. Equipped with a tilt steering column, and comes
with a soft Bimini top with side doors. Battery and fuel cell are
located under a hatch at the rear. Aftermarket speedometer mounted
to the column also contains the turn signal indicators. Newer brake
cylinders and shoes, updated wiring, a rebuilt Holley four-barrel
carb, a new power steering pump, and a newer fuel tank and gas
lines. Valve cover gaskets may need attention in the future. On the
road, great power steering makes it easy, fun open air experience
if you choose to run without the removable soft sides or top, a
great sound and smooth running 350 V8.
