1970 Chevrolet El Camino | 454 Big Block | M21 Muncie 4-Speed |
Chassisworks | Pro Resto-Mod | 72 Miles Since Build
The 1970 El Camino is one of the most iconic body styles in
American automotive history equal parts muscle car and hauler, and
there has never been a more desirable year. This example was built
the right way, by a professional shop, with no shortcuts. 72 miles
since completion. It is, for all practical purposes, a brand new
car in a 1970 body that can never be replicated for anywhere near
this money.
Under the hood sits a 454 Big Block Chevy backed by an M21
close-ratio Muncie 4-speed the combination that makes a pro-touring
A-body exactly what it should be. The engine bay is detailed to
show quality with a billet serpentine pulley system, braided
stainless AN lines throughout, and a Ron Davis aluminum radiator
keeping temperatures in check. Power steering and a full AC system
mean you can actually drive this thing on a hot summer day without
suffering for it.
The chassis is where this build separates itself from the crowd.
Chassisworks suspension components underneath give this El Camino
handling and ride quality that the factory never dreamed of.
Four-wheel disc brakes with large drilled and slotted rotors and
black calipers bring it to a stop with authority. It sits on
polished billet 5-spoke wheels that fill the wells perfectly and
tie the whole stance together.
Inside, the Dakota Digital LED gauge cluster with carbon fiber
faces and blue backlighting is one of the cleanest interior
executions you'll find on a restomod A-body. Tilt column, hidden
wiper setup, stainless pedal trim every detail was thought through.
The full build documentation comes with the car, including 717
documented build photos from Screamin' Performance and original
parts receipts. This is the kind of provenance that matters when
it's time to sell.
Deep royal blue paint, executed to show quality, over a black
interior. 72 miles on the odometer. If you're looking for a
turn-key pro-touring El Camino that doesn't need a single thing
done to it, this is the one.
