This 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD is a hard to find truck. It has the SLT trim, it is a crew cab short-box, it has the 8.1L V8 with Alison transmission, and it has lower miles. This is a really nice, very clean, and great looking 2 owner truck that spent most of its life in California before it was sold to its second owner (family) in Colorado where it has been the last few years. The last owner used this truck as a weekend toy and it is a good looking Sierra. The body on this truck is clean and straight. Th black paint looks excellent and is mostly original with the exception of the hood which was repainted because of clear-coat issues. All of the chrome and trim is original and nice. The bed has a factory liner in it from new. The underside is also clean and we found no rust issues with this truck.

The interior is also very nice and extra clean for the year. The leather seats look excellent which is a bonus for this era because the leather did not wear very well. The carpet, headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all excellent. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The headlights are upgraded to LED. The gauges all work. This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has working power windows and power locks and working power mirrors. The power heated seats are working. It still has the factory stereo which works and it also has an aftermarket DVD player. The horn and windshield wipers work. The heat and AC work as well.

Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives excellent. The engine is the very desirable 8.1L V8 that runs strong and smooth with no issues or red flags that we found. It has the Allison 1000 5 Speed Automatic Transmission. This is the combo everyone wants. It is mated to the np263 transfer case and the 4WD works like its should. The rear axle is the 11.5 AAM with 3.73 gears and a factory limited slip. The front axle is the IFS with 3.73 gears. It has a professionally installed 4 Inch lift kit to fit the 17 Inch black method wheels and brand new 35 inch All terrain tires. This is a super cool truck with a great look!!
