A good friend of mine built this car around 2010 or so. This Corvair is a Corsa in every way, except for the VIN tag. It is a well-sorted, nice driver that is “turn-key” and ready to go for any purchaser. Structurally, this car is in excellent shape with the floor pans being original and in great shape. Similarly, the torque boxes are in excellent shape as well as the pinch welds on the rockers. While the bottom of the trunk is in very good condition, the top of the trunk has been reinforced (as seen in the pictures). The car has an excellent running 140hp, 4 carb engine, solid transmission and clutch an also has a high torque starter, electric fuel pump and 15″ Camaro wheels with very good tires. The car also has an after-market steering wheel, Camaro front air dam, radio/CD player and seat extender for the driver’s seat. If you are looking for a solid and fun driver, this might be your car!
