This 1968 Oldsmobile 442 convertible is powered by a non-original
350ci OHV V-8 engine with a Carter AFB carburetor and a reported
mild camshaft upgrade, paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic 400
three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt and fitted with
a shift kit, sending power to the rear wheels. The cylinder heads
were rebuilt a few years ago. The suspension was completely
replaced in 2024, and the vehicle is equipped with rear air shocks,
power steering and power brakes. The rear-wheel cylinders and brake
shoes were replaced approximately three years ago. The exterior was
repainted approximately 10 years ago and is finished in black. The
black convertible soft-top features a replacement lift motor
installed six years ago. The red vinyl interior features an
aftermarket cassette player and additional gauges mounted under the
dash. The car rides on BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on
Cragar S/S wheels. The consignor states there is a small leak is
noted at the speedometer cable after extended periods of sitting.
