Split-Window Coupe RestoMod masterfully blends the iconic styling
of the Legendary first-year Second Generation Covette with
cutting-edge performance and engineering. Finished in timeless
Sebring Silver over a rich Twilight Blue interior, this build
retains the unmistakable presence of the original design while
elevating every aspect of the driving experience. Beneath the
sculpted body lies a state-of-the-art SRIII Motorsports custom tube
chassis, providing vastly improved rigidity, handling, and ride
quality. The chassis is finished in silver and paired with
rack-and-pinion power steering, QA1 coilover shocks, and a fully
upgraded suspension system featuring polyurethane bushings
throughout. Stopping power is equally impressive, courtesy of
Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with vented rotors, striking
4-Pistion red calipers, and a polished Wilwood master cylinder.
Powering this Corvette is a GM Performance LS3 V8 engine, factory
rated at an impressive 525 horsepower from General Motors. Enhanced
with a performance hot cam and topped by a custom sheet metal
intake, the engine bay is meticulously detailed with Coffman
Corvette billet aluminum valve covers, a polished aluminum front
runner accessory system, and an aluminum radiator. A remote-mounted
power steering reservoir, custom air conditioning lines, and
concealed heater hoses create a clean, uncluttered presentation,
further elevated by custom engine block-off plates and billet
aluminum hood grilles. Stainless steel headers feed into
factory-style side-exit exhaust, delivering both a classic
appearance and a modern, aggressive tone. The drivetrain is
completed by a GM Performance 4L60E automatic transmission, sending
power to a durable Dana 44 rear axle equipped with a 3.55:1
Positraction gear set striking an ideal balance between performance
and drivability. Inside, the fully custom Twilight Blue interior is
trimmed in beautifully crafted Italian-stitched leather, showcasing
a seamless fusion of vintage inspiration and modern luxury. The
interior door panels are one-off custom-made units, incorporating
stainless steel grilles and moldings for a distinctive, high-end
appearance. Custom vent window cranks, lock knobs, and door handles
have all been chrome plated, adding further refinement and
continuity to the interior?s design. Additional features include
digital gauges, a custom-integrated infotainment screen with backup
camera, power windows, and a Vintage Air climate control system. A
Lokar shifter and polished aluminum steering column complement the
aluminum steering wheel wrapped in matching blue leather, creating
a cockpit that is both refined and performance-oriented. Extensive
custom work continues throughout the cabin and rear compartment,
where the carpets and rear area feature bespoke materials and
finishes. Custom-made carpeting is paired with leather block-off
panels incorporating stainless steel speaker grilles, subtle LED
lighting, and a fully custom headliner. The rear halo of the roof
is leather-wrapped, as are the moldings surrounding the rear
windows, resulting in a cohesive and highly detailed interior
environment rarely seen even in top-tier builds. The exterior
finish is equally impressive in its level of detail. All bumpers
have been triple chrome plated to a show-quality standard, while
every piece of exterior stainless trim has been polished to a
brilliant, mirror-like shine. Further enhancing the presentation,
the hood hinges, as well as the male and female hood catches and
hood prop, have all been chrome plated details that underscore the
no-expense-spared approach taken throughout the build. Additional
custom touches include green-tinted glass, triple taillights for a
distinctive rear presentation, and one-off custom-built wheels by
Schott featuring titanium centers with polished lips and a
three-bar spinner design. The wheels are set up in a staggered
configuration, measuring 18 inches in the front and 19 inches in
the rear, perfectly complementing the car's aggressive stance and
refined proportions. With its expertly engineered chassis,
525-horsepower LS3 performance, and extraordinary level of
craftsmanship inside and out, this 1963 Corvette Split-Window Coupe
RestoMod represents the ultimate evolution of a true American icon
offering the look of a legend with the performance, comfort, and
reliability of a contemporary sports car
