1952 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup, underwent a complete frame off
restoration in 2022. To say that the previous owner of this truck
did it right is an understatement.
Stripped down to the bare frame and rebuilt with modern day
components this truck is the best of both worlds, old school style
and new age performance. Let's start with the chassis, out with the
old and in with the new. Power rack & pinion steering, Mustang II
independent front suspension, front and rear coil over shocks,
4-wheel disc brakes, 4 link rear suspension and a ford rear end
with 3.73 gears.
To get this beauty down the road power comes from a freshly built
350 Chevy small block with aluminum heads, roller cam, roller
rockers and 10 to 1 compression. You don't have to shift this one,
it has a fresh TCI turbo 350 transmission with a TCI 2600 rpm stall
torque converter and a B&M full ratchet shifter.. Now it's time
for the part you see, the body received as much attention as the
chassis and driveline. New fenders, cab, bed, tailgate and running
boards. Custom fuel cell with in bed recessed filler, full walnut
bed, new tinted glass all the way around, new chrome front bumper
and grille, new tires and wheels. On the inside it has a new seat,
carpet, wiring, custom steering column, Classic Instruments gauges,
tachometer and heater.
