LaFontaine Classic Cars is excited to present this 1969 Ford
Mustang Mach 1 finished in Acapulco Blue. This classic muscle car
has been lovingly owned by the same owner for the past 24 years and
has benefited from careful stewardship and thoughtful maintenance
during that time.
Under the hood sits a 351 V8 paired with a desirable 4-speed manual
transmission and hurst competition plus shifter, delivering the
kind of driving experience that made the Mach 1 a legend of the
muscle car era. The engine was rebuilt approximately 5,000 miles
ago, and the car currently shows 77,XXX miles.
This Mustang has always been a Florida car and has been kept in a
climate-controlled garage, helping preserve the car over the years.
The body was refinished in Acapulco Blue, giving it the
unmistakable presence that made these cars famous.
Inside, the car retains much of its original interior, a testament
to how well it has been preserved. The interior remains largely
original aside from replacement door panels, carpet, and steering
wheel. The car also rides on Magnum 500 rims wrapped in BF Goodrich
Radial TA's!
Over the years, the owner has invested in maintenance and tasteful
upgrades to enhance reliability and drivability while keeping many
of the original components. The car includes a rebuilt radiator,
MSD electronic ignition, Edelbrock intake and 600 CFM carburetor,
Flowmaster exhaust, headers, Flaming River rack and pinion
steering, new fuel tank, gauges, weatherstripping, and updated
glass.
