LaFontaine Classic Cars is excited to bring this 1967 Mustang
Convertible to market! Under the hood sits a strong-running rebuilt
302 V8! Performance enhancements include an aluminum intake
manifold, Holley 600cfm carburetor, ceramic-coated headers, and a
custom serpentine pulley system delivering both power and
efficiency. This Mustang has also been upgraded with Classic Auto
Air conditioning utilizing factory-style controls, ensuring
comfortable cruising in any weather.
Driving dynamics have been significantly improved with a full suite
of modern suspension and braking components. Highlights include a
new rack and pinion steering system, QA1 adjustable coilover
shocks, and a new 4-link rear suspension setup. Stopping power is
handled by Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled rotors,
providing confident, modern braking performance.
The exterior of this Mustang is nothing short of exceptional. The
red paint shows in near flawless condition and is complemented by
new bumpers, emblems, rocker moldings, and taillight bezels. LED
sequential taillights and LED headlights add a modern touch while
maintaining classic styling cues. The original quarter panels
remain laser straight, and attention to detail is evident
throughout with new weather stripping, door jamb plates, and iconic
hood-mounted turn signals.
Inside, the cabin has been completely refreshed and upgraded for
both style and comfort. Features include a new woodgrain
factory-style steering wheel, new carpet, custom floor mats, a
custom center console, and an updated instrument bezel. The
power-operated convertible top is brand new, along with the rear
window, making top-down driving effortless. A modern Retro Sounds
radio is paired with kick panel speakers to provide excellent sound
quality while maintaining a clean, classic look.
Rolling on new Cobra-style knock-off wheels wrapped in performance
tires (255/40/18 front and 225/40/18 rear), this Mustang has the
perfect stance to match its performance capabilities.
