In the pursuit of perfection over $450,000 was invested in this magnificent 1951 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window Custom Pickup which is documented with receipts that are included. It was rendered by car designer and trendsetter Eric Brockmeyer Design. The Texas based build collaboration was between Restoration Techniques, PAINTHOUSE and Stitch by Stitch. It was featured at SEMA and is the recipient of multiple Autorama 1st place awards including the prestigious Millwinder Award. Countless hours were spent crafting the mostly original sheet metal to ensure it was laser straight from every angle. It was dressed in the custom color of Dark Maroondy Pearl which is a PPG paint finish from the Vibrance Collection. The craftsmanship of the body and paint is at an extremely high level of quality. It was outfitted with all new tinted glass and trim including the tucked bumpers. It's equipped with LED headlights and taillights. The bed wood floor was custom stained in a complementary matte color and decorated with polished trim including a fuel filler cover for the Ricks fuel tank. It rolls on custom Schott Accelerator 18” wheels with a ceramic bronze and polished finish. The high-end interior is defined by a combination of meticulously crafted materials, advanced technology and superior comfort. The dash, paneling, full length console and bucket seats were covered in hand stitched Chocolate Hydes Automotive premium leather. Some of cabin characteristics include Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air Conditioning, power windows, Ididit tilt steering column, EVOD steering wheel, polished trim, cup holder, storage compartment and German weave carpeting. The crisp sound system consists of an Alpine 8” head unit with rear camera along with Phoenix Gold amplifiers, front speakers, rear speakers and subwoofers. The engine compartment was designed to be clean and sophisticated. The entire truck was rewired with a new American Highway wiring harness which is discreet throughout. The backside of the hood, firewall, inner fenders, radiator core support and battery cover was hand crafted. These pieces were painted in a complementary matte color. It's powered by a Nickens Brothers LS3 V8 engine and 4L65E automatic transmission. Some of the engine accessories include Greening Auto Company black billet valve covers, painted fuel rail covers and March Performance front runner system. It's cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. It breathes through ceramic coated headers and a GAP Racing 3” exhaust system with polished Black Widow mufflers. The power is transferred to the pavement through a 9” Truetrac rear end with Strange 31-spline axles and 3.25 Motive gears. The well-engineered undercarriage was designed to easily accessible and driver friendly. It rides on an Art Morrison Sport GT Chassis that was powder coated black. It's equipped with power rack and pinion steering. The chrome front control arms and Strange coil over shocks at all four corners handle the road well. The Wilwood 4-wheel disc braking system with red calipers and drilled rotors provide excellent stopping power. It's also equipped with an E-STOPP electronic emergency brake. This vehicle has been completely serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
