1948 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe, powered by a flathead V8 engine with
a recently rebuilt carburetor and features a 3-speed manual
transmission with a column-mounted shifter. Updated with a 12-volt
electrical system and new ignition components. The exterior is
painted in a medium green metallic finish, with some signs of
aging, but retains a nice shine. The chrome and brightwork,
including bumpers and trim, are in good condition, with added
headlight shrouds. The interior shows some aging on the seats and
door panels. Recent service work includes new brake shoes, brake
lines, and wheel cylinders. The radio is non-functional. Riding on
color matched steel wheels with Ford chrome center caps and beauty
rings, and wide white wall tires that do show aging. A battery
disconnect switch has been added for storage. The car fires up
easily and runs well, with a good clutch feel, manual transmission
operation, and effective braking.
