Chevrolet Corvette Z06, a purpose-built American performance icon
that has been extensively upgraded into a true street and strip
monster. Finished in a sleek Silver exterior over a Black leather
interior, this Z06 combines the raw, lightweight nature of the C5
platform with a meticulously built and boosted drivetrain.
Under the hood lies a professionally rebuilt LS6 V8, completed at
approximately 27,000 miles and upgraded with forged pistons (.05
over) and forged rods for strength under boost. The cylinder heads
have been checked and refreshed, now paired with upgraded roller
rockers and LS7 lifters for improved valvetrain reliability at high
RPM.
Feeding this built engine is an ECS (East Coast Supercharging) Novi
1500 centrifugal supercharger system, originally installed by
Corvette World of Houston. Supporting the boost are 60 lb injectors
and a BTR Stage 3 blower camshaft, along with upgraded pushrods and
valve springs with titanium retainers. Tuned on 93 octane at
approximately 10 psi by Futral Motorsports in Louisiana, this setup
is estimated to produce in the neighborhood of 700
horsepower-delivering explosive acceleration and relentless top-end
pull.
Power is sent through a 6-speed manual transmission equipped with a
Tick Performance LS7 clutch and flywheel kit, paired with a remote
bleeder for easier maintenance. Shifting is enhanced with an MGW
short-throw shifter topped with a C6-style knob, providing precise
and confident gear engagement.
The exhaust system has been fully upgraded with Hooker long tube
headers and a catless full exhaust, giving this Z06 an aggressive
tone to match its performance. With approximately 34,000 miles on
the chassis, this Corvette represents a well-sorted, low-mile,
high-horsepower build.
Inside, the cockpit remains clean and driver-focused, featuring
supportive black leather sport seats, a straightforward gauge
layout, and the unmistakable feel of a purpose-built performance
car. Everything about this Z06 emphasizes driving engagement, from
the mechanical feel of the drivetrain to the responsiveness of the
chassis.
