EXTERIOR: This paint is about as awesome as it gets! The body is
pristine with precise gaps and excellent fitment, the headlights
open and close properly. The red finish is laid out like glass and
has been ceramic coated. It's topped off with a black metallic
stinger stripe on the big block hood, giving it the perfect
aggressive contrast. The trim, stainless, and chrome have been
replaced, and it features bowtie mirrors along with a rich black
cloth convertible top. The factory side exhaust looks incredible
and sounds even better. It's sitting on BFGoodrich redline radial
tires wrapped around reproduction knock-off wheels.
INTERIOR: You can't have enough red in a Corvette, and this
interior absolutely delivers! It looks like new-if not better in
some areas. It was lined with Dynamat sound deadener then fresh red
carpet was installed front to back and some premium mats. The seats
have been re-cushioned and upholstered in glove-soft leather, and
the entire dash area has been beautifully restored.It's upgraded
with RetroGauges that look stock at a glance but feature modern
analog/digital functionality, along with a quartz clock. There's a
Bluetooth stereo system, and the console is in excellent shape with
a billet 5-speed shifter rising from it. It also features a tilt
column and a Billet Specialties steering wheel. The door panels
have been replaced, and it has new red seat belts. All the
finishing details are in excellent condition, making this interior
truly stand out.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is certainly not numbers matching! This is
a modern performance conversion with greatly improved power and
reliability. At the heart is a new crate motor- aluminum,
fuel-injected LS3 6.2L producing an impressive 525 horsepower. It's
equipped with a frontrunner system featuring a Powermaster one-wire
alternator, modern power steering, a compact A/C compressor, and
billet serpentine pulleys. Vintage Air heat and a/c keep its
passengers comfortable. Stainless headers help it breathe, while a
polished aluminum radiator, water pump, overflow bottle, and
electric fan keep it running cool. It also has power brakes with a
polished master cylinder. Additional details include custom coil
covers, a catch-can breather system, upgraded modern wiper motor,
custom air intake tube, and chrome hinges. Everything is neatly
finished and presented with excellent attention to detail.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame, and the underside has been
thoroughly upgraded and detailed. Up front, it features a Van Steel
suspension with tubular control arms and tie rods, coilover
adjustable gas shocks, a sway bar, and rack-and-pinion steering. In
back, it's upgraded with a SharkBite coilover suspension with
double-adjustable gas shocks. The brake system has been completely
replaced, it has disc brakes at all four wheels and an E-Stopp
electric emergency brake. Looking up at the motor, it has an
aluminum oil pan and a high-torque starter. It's equipped with a
new Tremec 5-speed transmission with a hydraulic clutch, and a
custom driveshaft leads back to the 3.42 posi rear end. The fuel
system has been replaced and upgraded for fuel injection, featuring
premium AN fittings. The side exhaust system is all new. The frame
and suspension components are all freshly painted, and the
fiberglass floors are finished as well. It looks new
underneath-because it practically is!
