This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 235ci
inline six-cylinder engine equipped with triple Carter side-draft
carburetors, mated to a two-speed Powerglide automatic
transmission. It is one of 3,640 produced for 1954. The carburetors
were rebuilt and the exhaust system and battery were replaced. The
vehicle is equipped with dual exhaust outlets. It's finished in
Polo White and includes removable side windows and a tan soft-top.
The interior features a red color scheme and includes factory-style
gauges, with all appearing to function, except the clock. This
example underwent an older restoration that was refreshed prior to
purchase in 2020 and is accompanied by an owner's manual and
literature. Imperfections include evidence of prior bodywork on the
left fender, areas of paint wear around the soft-top, damage on the
upper passenger-side rear quarter panel near the boot cover,
non-functional windshield wipers and uneven exhaust pipe lengths.
