This particular Down's '37 Ford Cabriolet is a beautifully built
and show-presented Street-Rod with Resto-Mod Styling &
Modification. Originally bought over 15yrs ago in Indianapolis, the
owner took this cabriolet and transformed everything about it &
moved it to his winter home here in sunny Florida. This '37 Ford
has won numerous best of show awards, one being the StreetRod
Magazine Pick of the year.
??The Mirror Black PPG Paint has been polished to a Mirror Finish
and features a Chrome '37 Ford Grille, Glass Headlamps and shaved
doors (remote door poppers for easy access). The Top is a custom
designed Removable Canvas Carson Top & the 17in Steel wheels has
been painted to match the interior. ??This Interior was designed by
the owner. He wanted a "Clean & Simple" Styling & everything is
wrapped in Ultrafrabric's Red, a Vinyl fabric that looks & fells
similar to real Leather. The Billet 1/2 Wrapped Steering Wheel is
attached to a full polished Chrome Tilt Steering Column & the
gauges are located in the lower Dash panel. The Interior is air
conditioning cooled by Vintage Air A/C & comfortable bucket
seating.
??Now under the hood is a rebuilt 5.7L 350 V8. Fitted with a Holley
4BBL Carburetor, a Street Warrior Intake Manifold & polished
Ceramic Coated Headers. Cooling provided by Walker Radiator &
Electric Fans. The Transmission is a TH400 3-Speed Automatic the
flows to a Currie Ford 9in in the Rear.The Chassis is a custom
built Tube Steel Chassis with a Powered Rack-n-Pinion Steering &
