This 1957 Thunderbird is an original California Black Plate with supporting documents. The car was brought to CT by our family in 1989 and under went restoration from 1989 to 1991 with full documentation. During that time it was sanded down to the metal and painted the factory color of Dusk Rose. All new electrical, engine refreshed, all mechanics gone through, complete brake job, re-chromed bumpers and trim, and all new interior. The car was always garaged and well maintained. In 2023 the engine was pulled to repaint and refreshed with all new gaskets and seals. The radiator was pressure tested and installed with a new high output water pump and an upgraded water pump spacer from Paragon Technology to ensure the engine runs at a good temperature. New hoses and belts, motor mounts and switches, voltage regulator, engine bay wire harness as well as the wire harness under the dash was also done in 2023. The brake light switch was upgraded to electric, as the hydraulic switches notoriously fail. The transmission got a new filter, front and rear seals with a new mount. This car is a true classic antique and runs as well as it looks.
