1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS. Number matching, finished in its
factory correct Rallye Green with white stripes, a rare and
stunning combination. Under the hood is the number-matching,
potent, 350 cubic inch V8 engine paired with its correct 4-speed
manual transmission and a 4-barrel carburetor. It's backed by its
original 12-bolt Positraction rear-end with 3.73 gearing as ordered
new. The car has seen a number of recent updates following the
previous restoration, including a new gas tank, a new AM/FM radio,
fuel lines, water, and a fuel pump. The suspension has also been
gone through, with new front springs, sway-bar end links, rear
shocks, and boxed trailing arms, helping the car feel more stable
and planted. Exterior-wise, nearly all the trim, bezels, chrome,
script, stainless steel, and front and back bumpers have been
replaced. As well as new front and back glass. Sits on BF Goodrich
tires with 215/70R15 up front and 235/70R15 in the rear, giving it
a slightly meaner stance. Rally rims are also all stock. Inside has
all been restored, with some components of the dash and center
console either being replaced to the original specification or
refurbished. Vinyl seats also appear to have been restored and show
zero sign of age, likely very recently renewed, with new carpeting,
and brand new floor mats. Paint, of course, was completely redone
at restoration to a very high standard, no dings, scratches, or any
inconsistencies, and it looks so good that it looks wet. This is an
honest, beautiful Camaro RS/SS with no stories, just well-loved,
cared for, and kept the way you'd expect such a prized possession
to be. Odometer reads 19,940 miles, assumed to be original.
