This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, VIN 124377N203247, is a strong-running,
well-equipped example of the first-year F-body. Built in the first
week of April 1967 at the Norwood plant, this car has been upgraded
for modern drivability while retaining its classic muscle car soul.
Currently finished in Black with White stripes, it features a
potent 1969-coded 350ci V8 mated to a Turbo 350 automatic
transmission. With functional Vintage Air, power steering, and new
power disc brakes, this Camaro is a "turn-key" driver ready for the
local cruise-in or a weekend run.
Trim Tag Decode
04A: Built 1st Week of April (1967)
67-12437: 1967 Sport Coupe
NOR 103132: Norwood, Ohio Production Sequence
Trim 760-Z: Black Standard Bucket Seats (no headrests)
Paint Y-2: Originally Butternut Yellow with a Black Vinyl Top
Exterior
The car presents very well in its Black and White stripe livery.
The paint was applied approximately 25 years ago and remains in
"pretty nice" condition, though it does show some honest age in the
form of small scratches, dirt nibs, and a couple of minor,
non-noticeable dents. We note some minor paint blistering on the
lower door edges and rockers. Crucially, the car retains its
original rocker panels and the body is exceptionally straight and
solid, showing no signs of past crashes or major structural
repairs. It sits on a set of tires installed in 2021 that are in
great shape.
Interior
The interior is clean, odor-free, and highly functional. While the
dash retains its classic look, it has been updated with a few
aftermarket digital gauges for more accurate monitoring. A B&M
ratchet shifter sits in the console, providing a firm, mechanical
feel to the Turbo 350 gearbox. All primary features, including the
wipers and lights, work exactly as they should. The Vintage Air
system is a major plus, blowing cold and keeping the cabin
comfortable during summer drives.
Underhood & Underbody
The engine is a 1969-year 350ci V8 equipped with a Rochester
4-barrel carburetor on an aluminum intake. It features a Front
Runner serpentine system to drive the Vintage Air and Power
Steering components. The car has been upgraded with new power front
disc brakes for modern stopping power. Power is sent through a
10-bolt Posi-traction rear end, providing excellent grip. The
underbody reflects the rest of the car-solid and honest, with no
signs of significant repair or hidden issues.
Driving
This '67 Camaro drives out beautifully. The 350 V8 starts with
ease, holds a steady idle, and runs very strong and smoke-free. The
Turbo 350 transmission shifts smoothly without any slipping, and
the engine makes great power throughout the rev range. On the road,
the car tracks nice and straight, and those new disc brakes stop
the car quickly and in a straight line. It is a confident, powerful
runner that feels much more "dialed-in" than your average
unrestored classic.
Conclusion
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a first-year Camaro that has
been upgraded in all the right places. With its Posi-traction rear
end, Vintage Air, and solid original metal, the heavy lifting is
done. It offers a great balance of classic style and modern
reliability. Please note: We only have what is seen in the photos
and video; we encourage you to review the trim tag details and
condition shots to appreciate the honesty of this Norwood-built
Camaro.
