His son, who had ridden home from the hospital in the Blazer's back seat, was with him too. The work completed consisted of a complete tear down custom two-town respray, interior reconditioning, dropping the suspension, and a complete drivetrain upgrade with a built racing transmission and upgraded to a 355 V8.This vehicle has a stellar look with an approximate 3' drop for that old school 90's slammed truck look.?There's not many S10 Blazers on the road these days, so this one really stands out.?We appreciate the two-tone paint in the scheme of the UCF Golden Nights (yeah, the PO was from Florida!).?The paint work is well done, and the body is straight and rust free.?This build is great because the original owner started with a extremely well cared for vehicle and did upgrades as he got older.?The last owners were a true car family and appreciated the Blazer for what it was and what they made it to be.?Oh, we also bought a 6-speed Miata from them as a package deal!The look is capped off by the always-classic BFGoodrich Radial T/A old school tires and American Racing 15' Black on Chrome Lip wheels.?If there's a better old school combination, we haven't found it! This vehicle still shows some rubber while dropped to the ground.? Match that with the custom dual exhaust, and you'll hear the grumble and rumble through the headers all the way out of the rear end.?This Blazer is fun to drive and we've never seen another like it on the road.Simple, clean, and a whole lot of simple, clean fun - this second generation?Blazer?is ready to hit the road running. ?With an upgraded 355 V8 engine, for an impressive 2400 RPM stall torque converter, this one-owner vehicle has been regeared and upgraded with a manual valve body.The dashboard features an updated instrument cluster with a yellow backing, equipped with a tachometer, volt, oil, fuel, and water temperature gauges. A rear bench seat and a split front seat seats five - and the trunk space allows you to bring along whatever you need for every adventure. The wheels are clad in BF Goodrich Radial T/A P215/70R15 tires. With a sturdy canvas upholstery and durable floor mats emblazoned?with the Chevy logo, the interior will hold up to whatever adventure you're looking to take it on.Classic manual windows, power locks, and a cigarette lighter in the dashboard bring the old-school feel. A locking cubby box in between the driver and front passenger seat and a locking glove box provide additional secure storage. Rear speakers sit underneath ashtrays, and armrests bracket either end of the rear bench seat. A rear dome light illuminates the interior. Sun visors fold down from the roof, and a XDM6820 radio and CD player with AUX input has been fitted into the dashboard to play only the best oldies. A Hurst race shifter in yellow features between the driver and passenger seat.A collection of show stickers on the windshield show off this vehicle's pedigree - it showed in the Daytona Turkey Run 4 years running!
