This documented Twilight Blue 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 with factory
air conditioning and original matching-numbers drivetrain was
restored to high show-quality standards. It was certified as
authentic by expert Chris White of Concours Concepts on July 6,
2025. A total of 3,100 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 models were produced in
1970, of which only 2,574 were Holiday Coupes. This collector-grade
example is accompanied with the original factory build sheet,
original factory broadcast line card, original factory window
sticker, original pre-delivery check sheet, original factory
owner's manual and warranty booklet with Protect-O-Plate. It was
ordered with a Twilight Blue exterior (28) and black vinyl interior
(30). It was ordered with the following options: deluxe seat belts
(AK1), Soft Ray tinted glass (A01), auxiliary front floor mats
(B32), chrome side window moldings (B85), chrome door edge guards
(B93), air conditioning (C60), sport mirrors (D35), 3.23
limited-slip rear axle (G80), power front disc brakes (JL2),

car was built in Lansing, Michigan, on the third week of October
1969. It was delivered to Skyland Oldsmobile in Asheville, North
Carolina. It was sold to George E. Minnick of Clyde, North
Carolina, on November 1, 1969. It retains the original factory VIN
tag and original factory cowl tag. It was refinished in its highly
desirable original factory color of Twilight Blue with black
stripes. The original factory black interior was lightly restored
and still retains a lot of originality. The highly detailed engine
compartment is home to the original factory matching-numbers W-30
455 V-8 engine that was factory-rated with 370hp. The engine has
the correct heads and intake. The engine breathes through a
recently installed Gardner Concours dual exhaust system. The engine
is coupled to the original factory matching-numbers
Turbo-Hydramatic transmission with Hurst Dual Gate shifter. The
power is transferred to the original factory matching-numbers
3.23-ratio limited-slip rear end. The undercarriage is also highly
detailed throughout. This vehicle has been completely serviced and
detailed, which is documented with an invoice. From the information
gathered, the car had roughly 35,000 original miles prior to the
restoration; it now shows 36,852 actual miles. From the MS CLASSIC
