Search high and low and you aren't likely to find a classic muscle
car that checks as many boxes as this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS
454 Tribute. It has all the high-impact visuals that come part and
parcel via its coveted Rally Sport configuration, including a
blacked-out grille and hidden headlights. It features a
factory-correct Lemans Blue exterior, with a color-matched rear
spoiler, black painted hockey stripes and a cowl hood that's
precisely fitted to its surrounding steel. And, as if those weren't
sufficient laurels to rest upon, this classic is also packing
enhanced big block power that surpasses the displacement of any of
the factory offerings when it first rolled out, along with some
significant suspension upgrades that give it a level of agility
that would be difficult to match in its original form.
Once you climb inside, you likely won't want to leave anytime soon.
This interior has an impressive array of top-tier components,
including TMI front buckets and rear bench seat that are dressed in
ultra-fresh black vinyl, with matching door panels on either side.
Those buckets straddle a very sharp center console that places a
Hurst shifter within easy reach and features a clean woodgrain
panel while the rear gets it's own center console with dual
cupholders. As you direct your attention forward through the billet
steering wheel on its tilt column, you'll find a full assembly of
AutoMeter gauges in the instrument cluster, ready to provide their
readings through crystal-clear lenses. A Boss AM/FM/CD stereo with
Bluetooth connectivity is also standing by, along with a Vintage
Air climate control system.
Beneath that cowl hood lurks a potent 454-cubic-inch V8 that's
outfitted with a performance cam and aluminum heads to enhance its
already elite output. It's fed by a Holley four-barrel carburetor
perched on a polished intake manifold and pairs with a five-speed
T56 manual transmission that puts full control of that output in
the hands of the driver. This iconic ride cruises on a top-quality
suspension that includes Speed Tech tubular control arms and
adjustable coilover shocks in front and a full TCI four-link setup
in back, and you'll find power disc brakes at the corners, with
Wilwood slotted and drilled rotors for excellent stopping
ability.
