This ’56 is equipped with it’s original 324 cubic inch Oldsmobile Rocket engine and a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle is absolutely stunning, the paint is in great shape, the body lines are excellent. This vehicle was used as part of the 1996 Olympic summer games Century of motion Vintage vehicle display celebrating the “100th Anniversary of the Automobile”. The vehicle comes with a certificate documenting it was exhibited for the viewing pleasure of more than 1.5 million visitors. Exterior Highlights:
The exterior of the car is flat out stunning, the vehicle is finished in very sharp bright red and white two tone paint on an excellent body, the paint is very nice driver quality. The vehicle has an excellent set of tail lights. The chrome, and stainless trim and hardware are all in excellent shape. The vehicle is equipped with an awesome set of 20” Billet Specialties 5-spoke polished aluminum wheels with like new tires. This ’56 is ready to go cruising and will stand out amongst the crowd. Interior Highlights:
The interior of the ’56 is very cool with the old school bench seat covered in stunning red and white vinyl, seat covers that are in excellent shape. The vehicle is equipped with what appears to be its original AM stereo. The headliner in this vehicle is in excellent shape. The ’56 has the classic Oldsmobile dash with oodles of detail and factory gauges and the classic ’56 Oldsmobile steering wheel and column. The passenger side clock in the dash is super sharp. The carpet is in great shape. The vehicle is also equipped with added color coded seat belts. Overall, as the pictures indicate, the interior of the car is in excellent shape.
