1970 DODGE CHALLENGER R/T 383 CI, 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANS! This car is an eye catcher! The body is amazing and it appears to be all original sheet metal. Looking down both sides, it is laser straight. It is finished in a factory color, Plum Crazy Purple. The paint is very smooth and has a glossy finish. All of the chrome and brightwork is shiny and in good condition. It rides on a set of 15" Rallys with BFG T/A radial tires 215/70/15 in front and 255/70/15 on the rear for that aggressive look it deserves. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. It bears casting number 24681130 which is consistent with a period correct 383 series big block V8. It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake with a 6 pack, factory air cleaner, chrome valve covers and a newer dual master cylinder. The engine bay is painted the same as exterior color and has a nice glossy finish. The black bucket seat interior is nice from the headliner to the carpet. The instrument panel and factory gauges are in good condition. There are no cracks, damage or cuts in the dash pad. It has an after market AM/FM radio. The door panels, door handles and window cranks are in great shape and appear to be original. Some other features include a three spoke wood steering wheel and a pistol grip 4 speed shifter. The undercarriage looks like all clean metal. The rust free floors, rockers, frame rails are all clean original metal. Looking up at the engine, it is clean as well as the A-833 4- speed manual transmission. It also has a newer fuel tank, The E-brake assembly is hooked up and working. It features a 8 � Sure Grip rear end with 3.55:1 running gears. The trunk is all clean metal and painted the same as the exterior.
