Chevrolet Camaro SS Pro-Touring Resto-Mod. This restored
first-generation Camaro has been professionally built to deliver
serious big-block performance with modern Pro-Touring styling and
drivability. Under the hood is a massive 496ci big-block V8
equipped with Holley Dominator fuel injection and aluminum heads,
paired with an automatic transmission featuring a custom 3,600-RPM
stall converter and Stage III shift kit for aggressive
acceleration. The car is finished in a beautiful custom-mixed Red
Carpet Rally Red with classic SS dcor, 496 badging, and a painted
black Rally stripe, giving it an unmistakable muscle car presence.
This Camaro sits on custom 19-inch wheels from Intro Wheels,
wrapped in high-performance Pirelli P Zero tires. Handling upgrades
include a custom front suspension from Chris Alston's Chassisworks,
double-adjustable Varishock coilovers, and a 1.125-inch solid sway
bar with urethane end links, delivering excellent road manners and
stability. Performance exhaust is handled by a full custom system
with headers and massive 3-inch mandrel-bent exhaust tubing,
finished with custom high-flow performance mufflers for a deep,
aggressive tone. Power is delivered through a 12-bolt rear end, and
steering is assisted by power steering for improved drivability.
The restored interior features custom leather low-back bucket seats
with matching rear seating, a center console with classic horseshoe
shifter, custom steering wheel, and a full custom Bluetooth stereo
system with a professionally mounted speaker setup. The
high-performance big-block build includes forged pistons, a
competition camshaft, Comp Cams lifters and pushrods, a new timing
chain and gears with Cloyes timing cover, and a custom 7-quart oil
pan from Milodon paired with a high-volume oil pump from Melling.
Fuel delivery comes from 66-lb injectors, braided fuel lines, and
an electric fuel pump, while ignition is handled by an HP Smart
Coil ignition system. Cooling is provided by a custom aluminum
four-row radiator from Holley Frostbite, while additional
highlights include custom black big-block valve covers, polished
engine components, a custom 2-inch cowl hood, and an Optima
Batteries battery. This Camaro comes with a binder full of receipts
and restoration photos, documenting what went into the build. A
