1995 BMW 3.8 Liter Euro M5 Touring (E34) in optional Avus Blue Metallic paint with full Nappa leather Silver Gray interior, 6-speed manual transmission and double-pane electric sliding roof. This European M5 was originally owned by BMW and loaned to a company executive. The seller purchased the car from a BMW dealer in Kassel, Germany in July 2000 with about 32,000 Kilometers and imported into the U.S in early 2001. It passes California emissions. The odometer now shows 244,775 kilometers. Options include Automatic Climate Control, Heated driver and passenger seats, high-fidelity loudspeaker system and the Nürburgring Handling Package. The paint is original with no respray; seller states no accidents or damage to the car during his ownership. It has a clear title, includes service records, and is licensed in California.

This late-model Euro M5 version is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six engine (S38B38). It produces 340 horsepower (250 kW) at 6,900 rpm and 295 ft-lbs (400 Nm) of torque. It was the final version of the double overhead-cam, direct-actuated 4-valve per cylinder S38 (S38B38) engine and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine has a vehicle speed limiter pre-programmed to 250 Km/h (155 Mph).
Maintenance for the sale included renewing the oil and filter with Redline Polyol-Ester synthetic 10W-60, brake fluid flushed and replaced with ATE type 200 fluid, transmission oil changed with Redline synthetic MT-90 fluid, differential oil changed with Redline 75-90 synthetic LS additive differential fluid. These same fluids have been used since the US import in 2001. The engine coolant was recently flushed and replaced with Blue BMW-approved antifreeze and distilled water. The battery was replaced in August 2021.

This European-only M5 Touring was purchased from a BMW dealer in Kassel, Germany and converted by Wallace Environmental, an EPA-registered importer, to meet all US 49-State and California Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), and EPA 49-State and California emissions requirements. It also has a State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) vehicle information label N0195473. Any California Star-certified smog inspection station can verify the compliance data for testing, registration transfer, and renewals using these labels. Re-certification and laboratory testing will not be required.

Complete left and right headlight brackets with European-specific light bulb reflectors with Hella-brand lenses, replaceable bulbs, and wiring harnesses for a retrofit back to original.
