This custom 1964 Mercury Comet convertible is powered by a 302ci
Coyote V-8 engine producing 500hp, paired with a five-speed manual
transmission driving the rear wheels. The vehicle is built on a
Roadster Shop chassis and equipped with custom headers and a dual
exhaust system. The chassis features tubular control arms and
modified suspension components. Stopping is handled by four-wheel
oversized disc brakes. The exterior is finished in Nardo Gray and
features color-matched bumpers, updated headlamps and a convertible
top with a matching hard tonneau cover. The undercarriage has been
custom-finished. The interior is trimmed in red leather and
includes bucket seats, a center console and a custom shifter, along
with a custom steering wheel. Interior equipment includes air
conditioning, a Bluetooth-compatible radio and a digital dash
cluster mounted in a color-matched dashboard. The vehicle rides on
18-inch custom wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The
build was completed by Casados Design of Alabaster, Alabama. It has
been driven under 500 miles since completion.
