This custom Caterpillar-themed 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 pickup
is powered by an upgraded fuel-injected GM Ram Jet 350ci V-8 engine
paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The engine is
equipped with long-tube headers and a custom stainless-steel
exhaust system. The vehicle received a ground-up restoration with
the frame and underbody powder-coated. The suspension features an
Old Man Emu lift. Braking components are factory configuration. The
exterior includes Icon mirrors, Icon front and rear bumpers, KC
HiLites off-road lights, custom LED headlights and in-bumper
spotlights. The body and frame were bead-blasted with metalwork and
bodywork completed, and the panels are finished in Tamco paint. It
rides on powder-coated wheels finished in Cat Yellow. The interior
features custom bucket seats, a custom console with industrial
gated switches, push-button start, Cat steering wheel and a Vintage
Air climate-control system. It has been driven approximately 115
miles since completion.
