1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Out of 41 Year OwnershipThis 1972
Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona is beautiful original example out of 41
year ownership. Rosso Corsa with black leather interior. A well
loved and maintained driver quality Daytona out of long-term
ownership and care. Showing 30k miles. Offered with records as well
as its factory jack, hammer, and spare. Power windows and air
conditioning. It has very nice paint and chrome as well as a clean
underside. The interior is also in excellent condition with lovely
leather upholstery, door panels, and dashboard. It runs and drives
fantastic and is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next lucky
owner. The Daytona has become one of the most desirable Ferraris of
all time and with only 1,284 produced, good examples are quite
difficult to come by. Opportunities like this do not come around
often so don't miss the chance to acquire one of Ferrari's most
highly sought-after models.Introduced in 1968 and produced until
1973, it unofficially became known as the Daytona to commemorate
Ferrari's 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. Designed by
Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina, the Daytona featured sleek,
aggressive styling that departed from previous Ferrari designs. The
Daytona?s long hood, fastback roofline and Kamm tail created a
purposeful, muscular appearance. It was the fastest production car
in the world at its launch with a top speed of 174 MPH. The engine
featured four overhead camshafts (hence the /4 designation) and six
Weber twin-choke carburetors. Power was delivered to the rear
wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission with a rear-mounted
transaxle for optimal weight distribution. The Daytona's
performance was extraordinary for its time, achieving 0-60 MPH in
5.4 seconds. Its combination of raw power, elegant design and
exceptional handling made it a formidable competitor to the new
generation of supercar rivals. Out of 41 year ownership Stunning
