When you think of a 1975 Camaro most people don't consider it much
of a muscle car with its lack luster 145 horsepower 5.7 V8, however
this example has been completely restored and modified into a
pretty badass street rod. It has a sinister look with the deep
black paint, the dark tint on the windows, Weld wheels, and a nice
low stance. View the car from the rear and you can see the dual
exhaust is tucked up tight and hardly visible and the old school
traction bars giving it the classic muscle car style. The interior
is well maintained and appears mostly stock other than the modern
CD radio, it has black panels and carpeting with white vinyl seats
that have been well maintained. The headliner is in great
condition, white faced gauges on the dash are in working order as
well as additional temp and oil pressure gauges which were added
and are likely much more accurate than the 50 year old originals.
The center console was signed by Shirley Muldowney "The First Lady
of Drag Racing" she is the first woman ever to receive a license
from the National Hot Rod Association and a photo of her signing
the car will be included with the sale. Under the hood you will
find a well dressed professionally built 355 cubic inch V8 which is
highly modified. The engine makes plenty of power with the addition
of Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads, Dart aluminum intake, Comp Cams
camshaft, and Edelbrock 4 barrel carb that makes an incredible
sound through the ceramic coated Mr. Gasket headers and 3 inch dual
exhaust. The 4-speed manual transmission and 4:10 gears in the posi
traction rear end get you off the line in a hurry and the 4 wheel
power disc brakes with added proportioning valve ensure you can
safely come to a stop before the next burnout. This 1975 Camaro is
ready to enjoy and impress everyone at your next car show.
