What we have here is a Ex-Oman Army left-hand drive Series III. It is powered by an overhauled 5-main bearing 4-cylinder with a rebuilt, stock 4-speed transmission and transfer case with a Holley Sniper Computer driven EFI system that eliminated the vapor lock from the stock carb. The prior owner to the current consignor purchased the Rover while living in Dubai UAE. A pic of the Rover before restoration is available but because of where the vehicle lived and served, there is virtually no rust whatsoever. The new paint scheme is Bahama Gold and Limestone. Most of the restoration was completed in Abu Dhabi UAE and then was imported back in to the US. The current owner has then taken it to the next level with many items being addressed and or upgraded like LED headlights, GPS speedometer, a newer odometer for miles instead of Kilometers and many more items. This Rover starts right up, idles perfectly and goes down the road exactly like it should. This is a very good example that has been taken to the next level. A few extra odds and ends will accompany the vehicle to the next owner along with a British Heritage Trust cert identifying the vehicle and build info. It also has owners manuals, tech book along with receipts and records of what has been done most recently. This is a tremendous opportunity to own something very unique.
