Originally ordered new by Trinity County, California in 1955, this Ford F-100 was sent out for professional conversion by Siebert, a well-known coachbuilder specializing in emergency vehicles.
The truck served first as an ambulance and later as a search and rescue vehicle in the rugged terrain of Northern California. After years of service, it was retired and sold at a local county auction in 1989.
Today, it survives as a rare example of a coachbuilt emergency vehicle with known local history, now thoughtfully converted into a clean and highly usable custom hauler.
