A former AACA National First Prize winner, this car is one of the finest examples of a pre-war Woody available anywhere on the market. This highly correct wagon is powered by a 221 cubic inch Flathead backed by a floor-shifted 3 speed manual transmission. New for '39 hydraulic brakes are also present. The near flawless wood work is complemented nicely by a fresh coat of dark maroon paint and new medium brown upholstery. The chassis and underbody have been freshened with gloss black paint. The dashboard was also restored with mahogany woodgrain and beautiful correct instrumentation. 1939 remains an incredibly desirable year for a Ford Standard wagon; as the classic styling from '38 remained but came paired with the freshly introduced hydraulic brakes and the sought-after floor shifted transmission (only available in '39 and '40.)
