This 1989 Chevy K5 Blazer is a super clean, rust free, very
original K5 Blazer. These are getting very hard to find for an
affordable price and this one is really nice. This truck spent its
life in California and Idaho and it is a 3 Owner vehicle. This K5
Blazer is also a Diesel which is really cool. This thing is a true
time capsule and the new owner is going to be very happy! The body
is clean and straight. The Olympic White and Smoke blue paint still
looks excellent and it appears to be all original. All of the
chrome and trim is original and in excellent condition. The
underside is also super clean and we found no rust issues anywhere
with this truck.
The interior is also in beautiful shape. It looks so nice that you
would think it was restored, but it is original. The seats, carpet
headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all original and
excellent. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges all work. It has tilt wheel and
working cruise control. It was working power windows and locks and
power rear window that is also working. The horn and windshield
wipers work and the factory radio works. The heat and AC also work
on this vehicle.
Mechanically this Blazer is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful. The engine is the original 6.2L Diesel that starts easy
and runs strong. The whole engine compartment looks amazing and we
found no issues or red flags. It is completely stock. Recent
service includes a new alternator, new AC compressor converted to
R134A, and new belts. The 6.2L Diesel is a reliable engine that
gets excellent fuel mileage (20 MPG easily). The transmission is
the 700R4 Automatic that shifts nice. It is mated to the np241
transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is
the Corporate 10 Bolt with 3,73 gears and the front axle is also a
Corporate 10 Bolt with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting on a nice
set of GM Factory Rallye Wheels with 31 Inch All Terrain tires.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
