1930 Ford Model A – Deluxe Roadster. This is the most sought-after body style, Deluxe – dual side-mount spare tires, and has the very rare hood vent doors instead of fixed louvers. It also has the chrome package; note the chromed headlight mount bar instead of the body color, plus the headlight visors.
It had a frame-off rebuild in the 1990s when the engine, transmission, differential, and brakes were all rebuilt. Less than 1000 miles since rebuild. The six Firestone whitewall tires and tubes are only about 3 years old and in great shape. Runs and drives excellently.
The luggage rack and period-appropriate leather trunk are in great shape. The interior (including the rumble seat) is perfect.
The paint from the rebuild in the 90s is showing a little wear, but still in wonderful condition. The chrome is in excellent condition. The underside is very clean. The trunk is full of spare parts and documentation. This car originated in California and has been in Iowa for just the last couple of years.
