I'm in love with this truck! This is an unrestored survivor in
excellent condition. Rust free with original paint. 2 owner, garage
kept, KY truck with only 66,335 original miles. It is full of
options like 4x4 and a/c. It is possibly the best functioning
vehicle we have. The air is cold, windows roll up like a hot knife
through butter, no rattles or clunks! Documented with original
invoice, literature, warranty card, Marti Report and more. Only 212
made Raven black with this interior.
**It's now a 3 owner, celebrity owned. We sell cars to Stefon
Diggs, a pro wide receiver that just played in the Super Bowl. We
sold him this truck a couple years ago we just purchased it back in
virtually the same condition.
EXTERIOR: Wow, this truck looks close to new and it's mostly
original! The body is rust free, straight and no damage. Original
Raven Black paint is smooth and glossy with just enough patina to
make you believe it is original. Doors shut like new and have
original metal door edge guards. It's the XLT which means "Extra
Luxurious Truck" so it's decked out with extra trim. All the chrome
and moldings are in excellent shape. It also has chrome bumpers,
the rear is a step bumper. A big chrome grill guard was added. It
has optional lights on top of the roof of the cab and a cargo
light. All the glass is crystal clear, it has optional sliding rear
window. It is sitting proud of some upgraded 8 lug polished 16
American Racing wheels with BF Goodrich All Terrain tires.
INTERIOR: Practically new and it is original! It hasn't even been
smoked in; the lighter and ashtray haven't been used. Original
knitted vinyl seat trim, Am/FM Stereo, cab lights, rear siding
window, oil pressure gauge, rear folding seat and deluxe wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original 351 V8 was upgraded with an aluminum
intake and 4 barrel carb. Features include factory air
conditioning, super cooling package including oil cooler, power
steering and power brakes. It is very complete including the entire
jack assembly, Ford washer bottle, horns, battery hold down
etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The tailgate functions properly. Inside the box
has no damage or rust. It has been used and there are scratches in
the original paint. It can easily be scuffed and sprayed, I
personally would rather see it left original.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath is original, bone dry, and rust free metal!
Southern Kentucky truck all its life. It has been very well
preserved over the years and serviced when needed. F-250 consisted
of heavy-duty suspension, The front differential, steering
stabilizer and linkage, shocks and leaf springs, and sway bar are
all in really good shape. The rear springs and shocks in good shape
as well. The front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes look really
good. It has dual fuel tanks. Original type exhaust appears to be
in good shape. Looking up at the motor, trans, and transfer case
they are all clean, still factory painted and dry. The Trans was
optioned as the 3 speed auto Cruise-O-Matic and is original to the
truck. Original rear end is a heavy-duty Dana 60 with 4.10 posi
gears. The floors look immaculate, painted nicely in satin black
and smooth as can be. The frame is also in really great shape and
satin black.
SERVICE: We inspected the truck and adjusted carb and timing,
serviced and recharged A/C system.
There are other F250s out there, they are not this truck. Finding a
workhorse like this that was taken care of like a Sunday car is
amazing. The features and outstanding original quality make this a
very desirable truck!
