GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this fully restored 1963
Chevrolet C10 finished in deep Axalta Black with Axalta Chromatic
SS style stripes and matching side molding. This truck has been
transformed into a true show and go build, combining classic
styling with modern performance and detail work throughout. The
exterior is loaded with fresh chrome including new bumpers, bezels,
and trim, while a 1964 grille adds a subtle custom touch. Sitting
on 20-inch wheels with a lowered stance from 2.5-inch drop spindles
up front and a 3.5-inch drop in the rear, this C10 has an
aggressive, dialed-in look. The oak bed in the rear adds a
beautiful contrast to the black paint, while the Candy Apple Red
Chevrolet badging and tailgate logo give it just the right pop.
Under the hood is where this truck truly shines. Power comes from a
massive 454ci V8 bored to 460 and built to produce over 500
horsepower. It features Edelbrock aluminum heads, a roller cam, and
a Holley Sniper EFI system for modern reliability and performance.
The engine is paired with a TH400 automatic transmission and a 2500
stall converter, sending power through a 3.42 rear axle. This setup
delivers serious acceleration while still being very streetable.
Power steering and power brakes make the truck easy to drive, while
the relocated fuel tank cleans up the overall layout and improves
practicality.
Inside, the cabin blends vintage style with modern comfort. Grey
cloth and leather seating sourced from a 2005 GMC Sierra provides a
more supportive and comfortable ride, while a 2008 Silverado center
console adds functionality and storage. The painted dash keeps the
custom theme consistent, and a leather wrapped steering wheel gives
a premium feel. A Bosch RPM gauge and refurbished speedometer
provide critical information, while a retro style stereo offers
updated audio without taking away from the classic look.
The 1963 C10 represents the beginning of Chevrolet's iconic second
generation pickup design, and builds like this take that timeless
platform to another level. With a full restoration, extensive
performance upgrades, and thoughtful modern touches, this truck
offers the best of both worlds. It has the looks of a classic show
truck with the power and drivability of a modern performance build,
making it a standout wherever it goes.
