1968 Ford Mustang JJ Rods LLC is proud to present this incredible
custom 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Resto-Mod. This professionally
built Mustang was designed to deliver classic fastback styling with
modern performance, handling, and technology. Power comes from a
408ci Windsor stroker V8 crate engine built by Performance
Unlimited, paired with a custom-built 10R80 10-speed automatic
transmission from Monster Transmission. Built from a seasoned 351W
roller block, the engine features forged internals, a custom
hydraulic roller camshaft from Comp Cams, Air Flow Research
aluminum heads and intake, Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection,
and MSD Ignition components. The engine was dyno-tested at 450
horsepower. Exhaust flows through Hedman Hedders headers into a
custom 2.5-inch MagnaFlow exhaust system, giving the car an
aggressive yet refined performance sound. This Mustang received a
full rotisserie restoration, including a new floor, custom
transmission tunnel, and mini-tubs. The chassis features a
fabricated front subframe with Martz Chassis tubular suspension,
power rack-and-pinion steering, drop spindles, sway bar, and
double-adjustable QA1 coilovers at all four corners for exceptional
handling and ride quality. Braking performance is handled by
Wilwood Engineering 13-inch 6-piston front brakes and 4-piston rear
brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, an integrated Wilwood
parking brake, and a remote vacuum assist master cylinder. Out
back, the suspension consists of a Martz four-link with Panhard bar
and a custom-width Ford 9-inch Rear Axle equipped with Moser
Engineering axles and a Eaton Truetrac differential. Supporting
systems include an Aeromotive fuel system, Optima Batteries battery
relocation, and a complete wiring harness from Exclusive Wire
Works. The custom interior was designed by TMI Products and
features Pro Classic seats, a fully functional fold-down rear seat
and trap door, billet pedals, power windows, and air conditioning
from Old Air Products. The dash is equipped with Dakota Digital
gauges and a Pioneer Apple CarPlay head unit, while the trunk has
been fully finished to match the interior. This high-end Resto-Mod
Mustang combines show-quality craftsmanship with serious
performance and modern drivability, making it an exceptional
example of a fully reimagined classic American muscle car. Price
