INCOMING INVENTORY....--Grigio with Black Leather and Blue
carpeting, 3.5 liter straight 6-cylinder engine, 5-Speed ZF manual
transmission, Styled by Giovanni Michelotti at Vignale, Rare 1 of
348 Series 1 cars, Award winning restoration, Matching Numbers,
Collector-owned and maintained. With success of the 3500 GT,
Maserati released an updated version in 1963 now called the
Sebring, with homage from their 1957 racing victory at the 12 Hours
of Sebring. The Sebring was built on the short-wheelbase chassis of
the 3500 Spyder and therefore subsequently styled by Vignale. The
5-speed gearbox, four-wheel disc brakes and fuel injection were now
all standard equipment. During its most recent previous ownership,
the original engine was completely rebuilt by well-known marque
specialists. At this time, the Lucas fuel injection system was
removed and this Sebring received a triple Weber carburetors
conversion for ease of maintenance, the recently rebuilt Lucas fuel
injection is included with the car. This Sebring has been superbly
restored and retains its original numbers matching engine. With its
most recent long-term custodian it was housed in a large collection
of all Italian cars and has always been prepped for immediate use
and enjoyment and maintained regardless of use. Recently traded to
Autosport Designs toward another Italian automobile from our
inventory, we are pleased to have this Sebring in inventory and
available to its next lucky custodian. This Sebring is in
exceptional condition throughout. An iconic example of Maserati's
six-cylinder GT cars, this Sebring is one of the finest examples
available and ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
