1 of 963 R/T Convertible built in 1970 makes this a rare find!
It doesn't get much better than a Mopar Muscle car! Unless it's a
70 Challenger R/T drop top!
This 1970 Challenger features the original, but recently rebuilt,
383 CID V8 under the hood with shaker hood scoop! The shaker
showing through the hood is about as iconic as it gets in the
muscle car world! That engine is mated to the original, but also
recently rebuilt 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission
with Slap Stick shifter in the center console.
The exterior retains the factory correct Bright Red paint with
Black tail stripe, Go-Wing, and black convertible top, just as it
left the factory.
Inside is correct as well with black vinyl bucket seats with a
center console in between and original AM/FM radio. Touches of
woodgrain on the interior bring a bit of luxury to an otherwise
strictly business interior!
Power steering, power convertible top, radial tires on rally
wheels, Rallye steering wheel, and front disc brakes round out the
list of options on this classic Mopar muscle car!
We have a fender tag decoder in the photos along with the VIN,
engine numbers, transmission numbers, etc. The seller says the
engine and transmission have under 15,000 miles on them since
rebuilt. The car runs and drives fantastic and just needs a new
owner to show it off at car shows!
