Even moreso than the standard 993-generation 911 Carrera, the release of the 993 Turbo propelled the 911 to new technological and performance heights. Developed using lessons learned from the 959 supercar and, of course, Porsche's many racing programs, the new-for-1995 911 Turbo was the first 911 Turbo featuring twin turbochargers and standard all wheel drive. Offering 402hp and easily distinquished from its non-turbocharged brethren with its distinctive fixed rear spoiler, the 993 Turbo can attain 60mph from a stop in a mere 4.4 seconds and has a top speed exceeding 180mph - numbers that meet or beat many contemporary supercars.
Of course, the 993 911 proved to be the final generation utilizing air-cooled engines, the classic 911 body shell, and largely hand-built nature. With later cars feeling dramatically different, the 993 has attained legendary status amongst Porsche collectors and enthusiasts. Turbos, of course, are some of the most desirable, especially considering their limited production (only around 6,000 were built worldwide between 1995 and 1998). With this in mind, it is easy to understand why 993 Turbos have and will almost certainly continue to offer incredible investment opportunities to dedicated enthusiasts.
The magnificent 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo Sunroof Coupe featured here is finished in highly desirable gloss Black with an impeccably kept Black leather interior. This investment-grade Porsche Turbo has been meticulously maintained from new and driven a mere 16,905 miles, making this the perfect example to add to any premier collection. This exquisite example checks all the boxes in regards to investment: low miles, impeccable condition, and low production in addition to its status as being among the last of the truly hand-built, air-cooled Porsche 911 Turbos. Because of this, I personally believe the investment potential of this incredible 993 will grow beyond your imagination. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires only the very best at an investment price!
