This documented Twilight Blue 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30 with factory air conditioning and original matching-numbers drivetrain was restored to high show quality standards. It was certified as authentic by expert Chris White of Concours Concepts on July 6th, 2025. A total of 3,100 Oldsmobile 442 W30 models were produced in 1970 of which only 2,574 were Holiday Coupes. This collector grade example is accompanied with the original factory build sheet, original factory broadcast line card, original factory window sticker, original pre-delivery check sheet, original factory owner's manual and warranty booklet with protect-o-plate. It was ordered with a (28)- Twilight Blue exterior and (30)- black vinyl interior. From the information gathered the car had roughly 35,000 original miles prior to the restoration and the odometer currently reads 36,852. It retains the original factory VIN Tag and original factory Cowl Tag. It was refinished in its highly desirable original factory color of Twilight Blue with black stripes. The original factory black interior was lightly restored and still retains a lot of originality. The highly detailed engine compartment is home to the original factory matching-numbers W30 455 V8 engine that was factory rated with 370 horsepower. The engine has the correct heads and intake. The engine breathes through a Gardner Concours dual exhaust system that was recently installed. The engine is coupled to the original factory matching-numbers turbo-hydramatic transmission with Hurst dual gate shifter. The power is transferred to the original factory matching-numbers 3.23 ratio limited slip rear end. The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout.
