This 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible re-creation is powered by a 389ci
V-8 engine equipped with triple two-barrel carburetors, paired with
a four-speed manual transmission. The drivetrain configuration
follows GTO-style specifications as part of the tribute conversion.
The exterior features GTO-style badging and identification plates,
a hood finished to GTO specifications and a power convertible top
with a glass rear window. The vehicle, which began life and decodes
as a LeMans, rides on red-line tires. Interior features include
power windows and associated controls. According to the seller, the
vehicle was owned by the same previous North Carolina owner for 36
years.
