This custom 1929 Ford Model A roadster is powered by an ATK High
Performance Engines 302ci V-8 engine mated to a Gearstar Level 2
automatic transmission with overdrive driving the rear wheels. The
car is built on a lengthened, bobbed and pinched Deuce-style
chassis and is equipped with Heidts independent front and rear
suspension with Viking adjustable coilover shocks. The chassis
configuration is designed for improved handling and drivability.
Stopping power is handled by Wilwood disc brakes. The exterior
features a Brookville all-steel 1929 Model A roadster body with
flush-fit doors, a reshaped cowl and a laid-back windshield. A Pete
Hagan hood and filled radiator shell contribute to the streamlined
front-end appearance. The body is finished in PPG paint. The car
rides on Billet Specialties Bonneville wheels measuring 17 inches
in front and 20 inches in the rear. The interior features a custom
interior by John Miller at Sullivan's Upholstery and includes a
Tea's bench seat, marine-grade carpet, Classic Instruments gauges,
Lokar shifter, Vintage Air climate-control system and a Billet
Specialties steering wheel. This custom roadster was built by
Precision Hot Rods and Fabrication and was featured in the January
2017 issue of Hot Rod magazine.
