In the early days of the automobile, vehicles were utilized as a
tool to get from point A to point B or as tools of industry. Due to
this, many of these early automobiles were not preserved and
finding nicely restored, factory presenting examples is getting
harder and harder to find. That is exactly what we have here in
this great 1934 Chevrolet 1-1/2 Ton Stakebed truck. This classic
Chevrolet benefits from an older, comprehensive restoration
finished in its current Red over Grey exterior paint. The Red and
Grey exterior of this Chevrolet presents very well with only minor
defects to note. The exterior is nicely complimented by its natural
wood bed and stake sides, as well as factory steel wheels. The
current tires are very aged but are fitted with innertubes and hold
air well. The interior has been restored as well and is in very
good condition with only minor age and wear present. The interior
retains a factory presentation and retains its original
instrumentation that works with the exception of the fuel gauge.
Powering this Chevrolet is a correct Stovebolt 207 cubic inch
inline-6 cylinder engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission.
Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should. If
you are in the market for a nicely restored piece of automotive
history that would show well at your local cruise-in or parade,
then you will not want to miss out on this 1934 Chevrolet 1-1/2 Ton
Stakebed truck.
