1968 Plymouth Fury III Convertible – Single Family Ownership – Factory Avocado Green – Estate Sale
One of only 4,483 Plymouth Fury III convertibles produced for the 1968 model year, this example comes from single-family ownership and is now being offered as part of an estate sale.
Finished in its factory Avocado Green Poly (Code TT1) with a black vinyl interior, the car retains its original fender tag confirming the factory color and options. The original Clean Air Package sticker also remains intact and is shown in the photo gallery.
The vehicle has been garage and warehouse stored for most of its life and was driven into storage approximately five years ago, where it has remained since. The car appears to be a well-preserved unrestored survivor with largely original interior components.
The interior appears factory original. Carpet presents very well, the dash trim and gauge cluster remain intact, and the black vinyl convertible top is in very good condition. The power convertible top mechanism is present, and the car retains its wire wheel covers and whitewall tires, which present nicely.
Power comes from the original 318 cubic inch V8 equipped with a 2-barrel carburetor, paired with an automatic column-shift transmission. The car is equipped with power steering and power top. The odometer shows 59,676 miles, believed to be accurate based on the vehicle’s history. The car was running and driving when placed into storage.
