1970 Chevrolet Chevelle frame off restored in one of our favorite
paint code colors of all time, Shadow Gray. It has beautiful paint
and body lines with excellent fitment and alignment, along with
very straight panels.
Under the hood is a 496CI stroker crate engine from Blueprint
Engines with paperwork included. This big block 454 style engine
features iron heads and a flat tappet camshaft and produced 462
horsepower and 562 pounds of torque on the dyno at the wheels. This
Chevelle is no joke and delivers tons of power and torque. It is
equipped with a Vintage Air conditioning kit, power steering, power
disc brakes, a full CVF front drive belt kit, tilt steering column,
and dual electric fans. All of these upgrades make this 1970
Chevelle very comfortable to drive.
It also features a mildly built Turbo 400 transmission that shifts
very smooth and comfortably, along with a 12 bolt posi rear end
with a 3.73 gear ratio. The car has long tube headers with a 3 inch
exhaust system and sits on Magnum SS wheels wrapped in newer
Mastercraft white letter tires. The underside and trunk are both
very nice and clean.
The interior could not be better. Everything looks great and
functions exactly as it should. It will be very hard to find a
nicer 1970 Chevelle out there. This one has all the right options
and will not last long.
