This custom 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a fully forged
twin-turbocharged 6.7-liter LS stroker V-8 engine built from an
iron block, paired with a T56 six-speed manual transmission and
McLeod RST twin-disc clutch. The rotating assembly includes Wiseco
pistons, H-beam connecting rods and a 4-inch forged crankshaft,
complemented by AFR cylinder heads, a BTR Stage 3 turbo camshaft,
Johnson lifters and ARP fasteners throughout. The engine was
assembled and balanced by Mesa Balancing Performance in Miami,
Florida. Forced induction is provided by twin Turbonetics forged
billet Hurricane turbochargers mounted on a CX Racing LS turbo
manifold system with a custom heat-shield setup. Engine management
is handled by a Holley EFI Terminator X Max system controlling a
FiTech intake system with 102mm throttle body, 100 lb/hr Holley
injectors and Holley sensors. Fuel delivery is provided by a Sniper
EFI in-tank fuel system with dual internal pumps and a Painless
Performance wiring harness. Power is delivered to a GM 12-bolt
8.875-inch rear end with Yukon internals and a 3.73 ring-and-pinion
gear set. The suspension features QA1 coilovers front and rear, an
adjustable four-link rear system and Hooker chassis connectors.
Braking and clutch hydraulics utilize a Wilwood system with
hydro-boost assist. The vehicle underwent a frame-off restoration
completed in 2026. The body and chassis were stripped to bare metal
and damaged panels replaced with OER components to factory
specifications. The restoration was completed entirely in metal
with no body filler using corrosion-resistant materials. The
exterior is finished in PPG Candy Blue with factory-style white GM
racing stripes. The interior features power windows, TMI bucket
seats upholstered in original-style trim, a Vintage Air
climate-control system, Hurst manual shifter, Budnik steering wheel
and Dakota Digital gauges. Ringbrothers hood hinges are installed
under the hood.
