Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present this 1969
Chevrolet Camaro. Finished in a classic Camaro silhouette that
continues to turn heads decades after it first hit the streets,
this example offers the unmistakable presence that has made the
first-generation Camaro such a staple in the American muscle car
world.
Under the hood sits a small block 350 CID crate engine paired with
a rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The engine is equipped
with a Holley EFI fuel injection system along with a serpentine
belt setup. According to the current owner, the vehicle has also
received a new gas tank, fuel tank, and new fuel lines, though no
invoices are available to accompany the work that has been
performed.
Helping with the driving experience are tubular upper control arms,
four-wheel disc brakes, and new shocks and springs. These upgrades
aim to provide improved handling and braking compared to earlier
factory components.
Inside, the Camaro features Dakota Digital gauges which provide a
modern display while maintaining a clean appearance in the dash.
The vehicle is also equipped with a Vintage Air air conditioning
system; however, the system currently does not blow cold.
Overall, this Camaro presents with the classic styling enthusiasts
look for in a 1969 model year, while incorporating a mix of
mechanical and interior updates. With its recognizable body lines
and upgraded drivetrain components, it offers an opportunity to own
one of Chevrolet's most iconic muscle cars.
